If something doesn’t go as planned, I always recommend giving the place a chance to make it right. Most spots want to earn your trust. That said, here’s my take:\n\nI stopped in at John’s of Bleecker Street and had what I can confidently say was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.\n\nThe crust was perfect — crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with that subtle char only a brick oven can give. Sauce was rich and fresh, cheese was melted just right, and the toppings were balanced and full of flavor. Nothing greasy, nothing overpowering. Just a classic New York pie done at the highest level.\n\nThe place itself is no-frills and filled with history. You can feel the legacy in the walls and taste it in every bite. Staff was efficient and kept the line moving without rushing anyone.\n\nIf you're visiting New York and love real pizza, this place is a must. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just amazing pizza, start to finish.",

        "text": "This pizza lived up to the hype it’s delicious. We got a half pepperoni and mushroom. We came on a Monday evening at 5:30 table for two and seated right awhile. We had our pizza pie with in 20 mins of ordering. Great atmosphere. The pizza is freaking good! Hard to have such a reputation and have people satisfied.",

        "text": "The pizza was excellent. The service was good there's nothing bad about the place. It certainly is a family friendly establishment. But I will say I don't think you can go wrong where you get pizza in the city. I think if you stop and get a $2 slice it would be just as good. And I'm certainly not knocking John's I'm simply saying that there are a lot of good pizza joints in Manhattan.",

        "text": "Came here on a Thursday night and there was a line already.  Fortunately it moved very quickly.   The host was on top of it like it wasn't his first rodeo.  He got us seated and served quickly. It's amazing how a place as busy as this is so hospitable with all their customers - is no surprise people keep coming back!   Their pizza was outstanding - we weren't even hungry bc we were eating and walking all day,  but we went through 3 of the traditional cheese pizzas like it was no body's business.   Actually ordered two initially and then had to order another.  I had the last piece that had a little time to cool down.   It was excellent cooled down also.   Every element of this pizza has been perfected.   The pizza crust is thin and crispy,  the sauce is the right balance of tomato and it shines through;  the cheese is excellent and to have the whole package like this with the history of this place makes it just an unforgettable and something you just have to experience for yourself!",
